Roots has built its reputation over the last 10 years and has been able to get through the hardest of times thanks to the support and relationships made with our amazing community and loyal clients.

We’re still very committed to providing everyone with exceptional service and an unforgettable experience by maintaining our standards with dedication and passion. However, we have sadly had to address a very difficult decision due to the detrimental effect it is having on the business. We, therefore, would like to share with you that we must implement a Cancellation Policy, which, for those of you who come from the UK, will know, as they are now common in businesses such as Roots. We can assure you that we have tried to avoid doing so for quite some time and have been monitoring the “last minute” cancellations and “no shows,” but in the last six months, we have seen that we are getting more and more, which has left us no alternative but to change how we work our booking system.

Our salon is a busy space, with many clients eager to schedule time with our talented stylists. When clients cancel at the last minute or forget an appointment, it’s often too late to fill that slot. This affects both other clients, who may have wanted that time, and our team members, who dedicate their schedules to meeting everyone’s needs and have no client to service. Consequently, we will now have to ask for deposits for the following:

Deposit Requirement:
  • New clients: For appointments of 2 hours or more, a deposit of QR500 is required.
  • Regular clients: For appointments of 3 hours or more, a deposit of QR250 is required.
  • A client who cancels her appointment within 48hrs 2 times, will have to pay in advance for any future services.
  • Lash services and facials: A deposit of QR100 for everyone.
Cancellation Policy:
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a loss of deposit.
  • Cancellations made with at least 48 hours’ notice may transfer the deposit to a future appointment only.
  • NO SHOWS will be contacted and requested to pay 100% of their service fee. Any further appointments made will have to be paid in advance of the service.
  • Anyone cancelling twice or more will have to pay for their service in advance.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us decrease the amount of business lost every month, so that we can continue to flourish in a shrinking market and serve all our clients’ requirements.
